Family worship services in celebration of Mother's Day Morning worship services are at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. The early service is held in Covell Chapel, with our regular service in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Richard A. Weisenbach, Senior Minister, will lead morning worship services this Sunday, May 11, 2008.  This Sunday's message is entitled "Stories about Mom"

The calendar for Sunday also includes 9:00 a.m. Confirmation Class, infant and toddler care during the 10:30 a.m. Sanctuary service, 10:30 a.m. Youth Worship Service for Grades 7-12, 11:30 a.m. Fellowship hour in the vestry, and 11:45 Jr. Choir rehearsel. There are no Sunday school classes for Sunday, May 11th.

Clothing Closet

The Closet has free, gently used clothing available to the public on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9-12. Help is needed for sorting, setting up and hosting. Please contact Kristen Mitchell.

Youth Drop-In Center

Open Tuesdays and Thursdays for kids in grades 6-12 beginning in the fall. Hang out, play games, watch movies and have a snack at cost from 02:30 - 5:00pm. Adults are needed to chaperone and volunteer to serve snacks and clean up. Contact Dan Ledwidth.

Rosie's Place

Volunteers needed to help shop, prepare and serve at the shelter for women in Boston. First Parish helps on the 3rd Sunday of each month. The meal is prepared the 3rd Friday morning in the church kitchen from 9-11am. Two or 3 volunteers are needed to take the meal to Rosie's on the 3rd Saturday by 4pm. Please contact Jen Black.

Salvation Army Birthday Cakes

The 4th Wednesday of each month. The Salvation Army Saugus Center celebrates resident's birthdays with homemade cakes. Linda D'Agostino picks up cakes made by volunteers at 11am and delivers them. Contact Linda if you can help.

Soldiers Angls

7th and 8th graders end care packages to 16 Marines in Irag as long as resources allow. Make your check payable to First Parish and mark "Soldiers Angels" on the memo line.

Place of Promise

A Christian Recovery Home and Program in Lowell in need of wallpapering and repairs. Please contact Ken Hodgson if you can help.
