This NavPress study, prompts stimulating discussions and teaches Bible study skills. It emphasizes personal discovery of God's Word; application of scripture to daily life; and scene-setting historical insights. From the back of the study book:
ACTS: From tiny beginnings among Jesus' disciples, the Church exploded into a worldwide force in just a few years. How? Jesus left His followers with a mission, and the Spirit of God moved mightily through them to fulfill it. Luke's account of how the gospel was carried from Jerusalem to Rome—despite every conceivable obstacle—challenges us to know and live out our mission in the world.

Wednesdays
- 3:00PM - Mothers Bible Study (childcare provided)
All mothers are invited to the Fireside Room at First Parish to take part in this study. Mandi Ledwith is leading women through this DVD based series, Parenting—the Early Years, by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot. From BlueFishTV.com:
This [study] goes deeper than any technique of just getting kids to eat their broccoli and clean their room. It takes a Biblical approach into the traits parents want their children to have and what traits they want their children to see modeled in them.
On this six DVD series our team took their cameras into the homes of 20 families and captured real-life parenting moments. Some of these are funny moments and some are just completely honest moments that every parent can relate to.
The study looks at what it’s like for married, single and blended families.
Childcare provided. See, or contact Mandi Ledwith at (781)246-3816 for more information.
